د. أسامة

تخرج الدكتور أسامة حامد من كلية الطب في الجامعة الأردنية بعد حصوله على أعلى مرتبة الشرف في مدرسته الثانوية. بدأت رحلته في الجراحة بمتابعة تدريبه الجراحي في الولايات المتحدة حيث أنهى إقامته في الجراحة العامة في سينسيناتي أوهايو. حصل على زمالتين، زمالة في الجراحة المتقدمة بأقل تدخل جراحي وجراحة السمنة من جامعة ميريلاند في بالتيمور وزمالة في جراحة أورام الكبد والبنكرياس والجهاز الهضمي من جامعة ولاية بنسلفانيا في هيرشي بنسلفانيا.

بدأ حياته المهنية في الأردن بالانضمام إلى قسم الجراحة في مركز الحسين للسرطان (KHCC) كاستشاري في جراحة الأورام والجراحة طفيفة التوغل. وقد ساهم ذلك في تأسيسه لعيادة لأمراض الكبد والجهاز الهضمي، حيث كان رائدًا في إدخال الجراحة المتطورة طفيفة التوغل لجميع أنواع أورام الجهاز الهضمي الخبيثة في مركز الحسين للسرطان.

يشغل الدكتور حامد حاليًا منصب مدير عيادة جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والكبد والبنكرياس والسمنة المتخصصة في عمان، وهو محاضر غير متفرغ في قسم الجراحة في كلية الطب بالجامعة الأردنية، ومحاضر في كلية التدريس العامة(برنامج إقامة الجراحة في المستشفى التخصصي)، بالإضافة إلى جراح زائر في العيادات التخصصية الأمريكية في مسقط، عُمان.

الدكتور حامد عضو في لجنة مجلس جراحة HPB في المجلس الطبي الأردني. الدكتور حامد هو عضو مؤسس لفرع الأردن للكلية الأمريكية للجراحين ، وشغل منصب السكرتير الأول لهذا الفرع وهو حاليًا محافظ فرع الأردن وأصغر عضو في مجلس إدارة الكلية الأمريكية للجراحين. خلال فترة وجوده ، أجرى فرع الجمعية الأمريكية للطب الجراحي في الأردن العديد من الفعاليات الإقليمية والمحلية الناجحة التي تضمنت مسابقات ناجحة بين أطباء الجراحة.

لقد منحته مساهمته وجهوده نحو تعليم جراحي أفضل في الأردن مقعدًا متميزًا كعضو مشارك في أكاديمية المعلمين الجراحين ، وهي واحدة من أعرق جمعيات التعليم الجراحي في العالم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، ينصب اهتمام الدكتور حامد الرئيسي  على تطبيق الجراحة طفيفة التوغل في أورام الجهاز الهضمي المعقد والإدارة متعددة التخصصات لأورام  القولون والمستقيم ، وجراحة السمنة مع التركيز بشكل خاص على الإجراءات التنقيحية والعلاج الجراحي لمرض السكري من النوع الثاني.

كما أن له العديد من المنشورات في المجلات وفصول الكتب، وهو أيضًا عضو في الشبكة الوطنية الشاملة للسرطان في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا MENA-NCCN للجان سرطان القولون وسرطان الخلايا الكبدية. وهو عضو مؤسس وعضو مجلس إدارة جمعية السمنة الأردنية.
